If you want to be among the first to make tracks on the snow this winter, Val d’Isère opens for the winter season the weekend of 29^th & 30^th November. The lift pass rate is reduced to 58€ for the day, and there is free parking in the resort. There are also special apres-ski events to keep you entertained after you’ve made the most of the empty pistes..

You can discover the latest collections from more than 20 ski brands and 5 snowboard brands, and get expert advice from professionals to help you choose your gear.

To participate, you can register on-site at the test village, or online (registration opens in November 2025). A tester card will be provided free of charge at the welcome desk in the brand village.

Remember to bring your ski or snowboard boots, poles, and two pieces of ID
