Explore the mountains on a Fat Bike!

What: Mountain biking on snow

Why: A fun new way to explore the mountain

Where: Val d’Isere

When: Throughout the winter season

If you want to try something different on your ski holiday, why not have a go at Fat Biking, a new sport to hit the Alps.  It’s mountain biking on bikes with extra fat tyres and an electric motor, so you can ride over snow, and is a really fun way for everyone to explore the winter landscape of Val d’Isere.

Guided tours can be arranged for your group, with varying routes and difficulty to suit your group’s ability. Or you could go for an exciting downhill course on the Bellevarde massif.

It is suitable for beginners through to advanced, and for all ages from 10-12 (depending on height and ability)

If you’d like to get the feel of this new winter sport, on April 8th instructor/guide Olivia is offering a free 1-hour taster session from 10.30am to 11.30am from Tufs Chalet in La Daille. Places can be booked at the Tourist Office.

To book a guided tour, or hire bikes please contact us on concierge@valdiserelocation.com

Run Review:

3i, blue run – very much like the top of the Diebold,  but finishes before the Schuss at the Marmotte lift.
