Christmas celebrations in Val d’Isere!
Val d’Isère is a wonderful place to be at Christmas and you can’t fail to feel festive in the beautiful surroundings. There will be fabulous festive lights, music concerts and parades in the main street. The Tourist Office square will be decorated with a Christmas theme, featuring magical activities such as a wishing tree forest and a Santa Claus mailbox . From 21st December the Elf Hut opens its doors to you! Here you can participate in a creative workshop and make your Christmas decorations with Santa’s companions.
23rd December
6pm – the instructors from the ESF will put on a show for you – a freestyle show and torchlight descent followed by fireworks, which you can watch whilst enjoying hot chocolate and mulled wine.
24th December
10am and 4pm – Santa and his elves will be touring the slopes with free chocolates!
3pm and 7pm – Christmas face painting workshop for children. (Booking is required at the Tourist Office reception or on the day with the face painters.)
