Discover Val d’Isère and Tignes on snowshoes !

Nicolas is a state-certified mountain guide and is fully qualified to lead you safely, whilst sharing his passion for hiking and the great outdoors.

Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a longer hike, a snowshoeing excursion could well be the highlight of your stay in Val d’Isère.  Whether you are a beginner, a contemplative person or a serious athlete, you will discover the mountains as you have never seen them before.

Half-day snowshoe hike

3h15 – €45 per person.

A reasonable level of physical fitness is required (being able to hike for 2 hours with an elevation gain of 250m).

2 departures: 9:15am-12:30pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm (may vary depending on the day)

Snowshoes and poles provided. Hiking bookings required – you can rent these at the Mountain Pro Shop.

This half-day hike takes you to the mountain peaks in a fun and friendly atmosphere, where you can discover the unique ambiance of the mountains and experience unforgettable moments. From wildlife observation and breathtaking landscapes to exploring the Savoyard heritage, there’s something for everyone.

Homemade sweet snacks and hot drinks offered .

Snowshoeing at altitude! (pedestrian pass required)

3h30 – €37 per person.

Snowshoes, poles, headlamp provided. Hiking boots required – you can rent these at the Mountain Pro Shop.

Duration approximately 3 hours 30 minutes

With this excursion you will gain some altitude thanks to the Val d’Isère ski lifts. Whatever the snow conditions in the valley, this outing guarantees excellent snow cover. Follow Nicolas along the magnificent ridges of Val d’Isère to discover breathtaking panoramas.

Day Snowshoe Hike

5 hours – €68 per person.

Good physical condition required (being able to hike for 4 hours with an elevation gain of 450m)

Departure 9:15am, return around 4pm.

Snowshoes and poles provided. Hiking boots required – you can rent these at the Mountain Pro Shop.

The outing is scheduled according to weather conditions and takes you to small peaks or remote areas requiring a few hours of hiking.

A picnic in a wild and magnificent setting, allows you to relax and savour the experience.
