First ever early-closing of Val d’Isere

First of all, we’d like to say a big thank you to all of you that booked a holiday with us in Val d’Isere this winter, and we hope you are all doing well in these difficult times. It was very saddening for all of us that the season came to such an abrupt end, and we are grateful for the patience and understanding of our guests who were not able to come out and stay this year due to the extraordinary situation.  We are doing our best to navigate these unknown waters and come up with fair solutions for everyone.

At the same time we are staying positive, looking to the future, and can’t wait for the next ski season! If you are interested in booking for next season please do drop us an email and we’ll get back to you with possible options. We are keeping our pricing the same for next year and we all need something to look forward to once we’ve got through this!

For those stuck at home and looking for some exercise inspiration, Bonne Santé Alps have been working with SkiBro on a series of simple workout videos to get you ready for your next holiday in the mountains. We’re delighted to share the first one, helping with leg and knee stability, with Áine: Ski Fitness Workout

Another great option if you’re into yoga is Rosie from Bonne Santés’ live instagram class. Follow her on @roseyposeyyogi . I do Rosie’s classes in the winter and everyone has been missing them so much she decided to offer them online. The classes are fabulous, you feel wonderful afterwards and its so beneficial for your mind and body when we have to be inside so much.

For a bit of light relief and a good read take a look at this blog by Mark Fielding of Huski food delivery about his experience of the lockdown and homeschooling . As Mark says, if you have kids you may like it. If you don’t, I think you still may laugh. I did, and even may have learnt a couple of things – that is definitely a good thing in these strange times!  Apocalypse Daddy

We hope you are all looking for new inspiration and appreciating the things we have. We are looking forward to being re-united with family and friends and we look forward to seeing you in Val d’Isere this summer or again next season!
